Terms
EverStroll soft-launch terms.
EverStroll is a private, multi-perspective digital family storytelling archive built to preserve memories, voices, photographs, and family-history moments while allowing different recollections to remain distinct. These terms describe the rules for using the service during its limited soft launch.
Effective: August 30, 2026
Soft-launch service
EverStroll is being released in a limited soft-launch period. Features may change as the product is tested and improved. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve archive material and operate the service reliably, but soft-launch access is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Your archive
EverStroll is designed as a private, multi-perspective family storytelling archive. You retain responsibility for and rights in the memories, recordings, photographs, videos, stories, genealogy files, and other material you choose to upload, subject to any rights held by other people. Different contributors may preserve distinct recollections of the same event; EverStroll does not treat one family member’s version as automatically replacing another’s. You grant EverStroll the limited permission needed to host, process, display, organize, and transmit that material solely to provide the service and features you request.
Permission to upload
Only upload material you have the right or permission to preserve and share. Family photographs, recordings, correspondence, and genealogy records can involve rights or privacy interests belonging to other people. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate permission where required.
Private archive and public Storylight
New archive material is private by default. You choose whether a finished story remains Only me, is shared with your family archive, or is deliberately published to the public Storylight. Publishing creates a separate public story copy containing the material you approved for publication; private source memories and other archive records are not automatically made public. Public Storylight stories may receive comments and emotional reactions and may appear in discovery, Story Radio, Story Map, Connecting Now, or Story Ripple views.
Aster-assisted features
Aster may process archive material you submit to organize it, suggest titles, identify possible people, dates, places, or themes, summarize material, and help draft from source memories. Aster output can be wrong. Suggestions must be reviewed and explicitly accepted before they replace writing or are treated as archive facts. Aster is not intended to impersonate a relative or fabricate memories.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for activity performed through your account. Notify EverStroll if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised. Do not attempt to access another family archive without authorization.
Subscriptions
Any paid subscription shown during the soft launch renews according to the billing period selected until canceled. On the web, payment processing is handled by Stripe. Digital subscriptions offered inside an Apple platform app will use Apple In-App Purchase. A native build may temporarily offer only the Free plan while Apple purchasing is unavailable. Existing eligible access remains available after sign-in.
Public Storylight conduct
If you publish or participate publicly, do not impersonate another person, deliberately misrepresent a paid or brand relationship, publish private information without appropriate permission, harass or threaten people, post hateful or abusive material, spam, or use comments to evade these rules. Brand Stories and paid collaborations must be identified honestly. EverStroll may remove public stories, comments, or connections, restrict participation, or take other reasonable moderation action when content violates these terms or creates a material privacy or safety concern.
Reports, blocks, and moderation
Signed-in members can report public Storylight material and block contributors. Blocking hides that member’s public stories and comments from the person who blocked them. A report does not guarantee removal, and moderation decisions may consider context, privacy, safety, intellectual-property concerns, and these terms. Repeated misuse of safety tools or attempts to evade a block may be restricted.
Acceptable use
Do not use EverStroll to upload unlawful material, distribute malware, harass people, violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or use automated methods to scrape or extract other users’ private archive material.
Availability and changes
EverStroll may add, remove, limit, or modify soft-launch features as reliability, privacy, and product requirements evolve. If a material change affects paid functionality, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate it clearly.
Ending use
You may stop using EverStroll at any time. Paid plans can be canceled through billing controls. Account owners can download a structured archive export and permanently delete their EverStroll account from My Profile. Account deletion also cancels an active EverStroll paid subscription before removing owned archive records. Structured exports include archive data and media references; users should still keep independent copies of irreplaceable original media.
Limitation
EverStroll is a preservation and storytelling tool, not a legal, medical, financial, genealogical-verification, or emergency service. Historical context and Aster suggestions may contain errors and should not be treated as authoritative records without independent verification.
